Job Summary

At Shieldwall Solutions Inc, we don’t just move freight—we move as a team. We’re currently hiring an AM Linehaul Local Driver (11:00am - 1pm dispatch, from Monday to Friday) based in Savannah, GA, to help deliver goods efficiently and safely as part of our FedEx Ground operations. Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT and company standards

• Drop and Hook and unhook trailers (including DOUBLES)

• Enter and exit FedEx facilities with care and professionalism

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.

• Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Skills

• Demonstrates flexibility by adapting easily to changes, while maintaining a strong work ethic with reliability, dedication, and a proactive approach to achieving goals and supporting team success.

• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Must have a current commercial driver's license (CDL).

• Willingness to undergo a road test as part of the application process
